Sue-Ann Levy Actually Wrote Something Critical About The May- Oh Wait, Wrong Mayor...

Crack.  Coverups.  Denials.  Homophobia.  Misogyny.  Racism.  Drug Dealing.  Lies.  Harassment (both verbal and sexual).  Shirking Of Responsibilities To Coach Football.  Campaign Finance Law Violations.  Conflict Of Interest Law Violations.

These are all things the current mayor of Toronto is or has been either directly or tangentially involved with.  Some of it is stuff he's up to his ears in at this very moment.

So what does our intrepid Toronto Sun City Hall Columnist Sue-Ann Levy decide to write about?

David Miller.


My favourite quote:

"I said when he left office it would only be a matter of time before Miller parlayed his shameless use of the taxpayer purse on environmental causes into an enviro career for himself."

Right.  Enviro-friendly mayor gets job as environmental consultant based on his record of being, you know, enviro-friendly.  All a big conspiracy.  Him and his "sexy" enviro-cred should be pilloried.  How dare he "disgraceful[ly] use...precious city money to prop up his environmental agenda."

Rob Ford, of course, would never do anything that smacked of coziness with lobbyists.

So the moral of the story, at least in one city columnist's mind, is "Do, say, smoke, insult, besmirch, sell off, sell out, blow off, grab the ass of, deny and coverup whatever or whomever you like, just so long as you're ostensibly (as opposed to in reality) fiscally responsible and anti-tax."

Don't ever change, Sue-Ann you vixen.  Don't ever change.
